From the Parish Health Corner
Balance of Mind + Body + Spirit = Good Health
Mind:
Combine a tough mind and a
tender heart. ML King, Jr.
Body:
Green tea has quickly become the
drink of choice for many, but
use it in its “brew-able” form.
Evidence shows that its
polyphenols help protect against
cancer and other illnesses,
however very high doses of these
compounds may actually harm the
liver, kidneys, and intestines.
Enjoy your tea…skip this
particular supplement.
Spirit:
Imagine a large circle and in the center of it
rays of light that spread out to
the circumference. The light in
the center is God; each of us is
a ray. The closer the rays are
to the center, the closer the
rays are to one another. The
closer we live to God, the
closer we are bound to our
neighbor. FJ Sheen
Did you know?
Andrew Fazackerly, our part time
accompanist, is a professional
jazz musician. He and band
“Tommie Macon and the Gentle Men
of Jazz” will be starring at
“Chastain at CC” on the 17th
of October. Don’t miss this
great night of great music and
great fun!
